Is she four yet?

Eva has been trying to say the least which is I'm sure odd for our family and friends to hear. Both of our girls have remarkable 'guest behavior' and for that I'm thankful! That said, it makes it hard to believe that sometimes Eva's behavior turns into a foreshadowing of what she will be like when she is thirteen.

Yesterday she took apart my Barre3 exercise ball that I got earlier in the week. She wanted to see how it worked, just like her, and proceeded to put the air plug into her mouth and chew on it. It no longer holds the air in my exercise ball. Boo.

After an entire week of not napping, hooray, Eva was presumably ready for bed about the same time as Lila. She seemed tired and we thought she was in bed going to sleep. Nope. Not this pre-teen three year old. She got into my make-up bringing it into her bed proceeded to open items, using the brushes and now her pillow and comforter cover are covered in tinted moisturizer. As if that wasn't enough this morning she dumped an entire 4 ounce bottle of lavender scented soap into the sink to wash her tiny hands. Bless her heart! She is trying to grow up way to fast and it's killing me. And causing me to go broke. And raising my stress level.

Praying this odd exploratory phase ends soon or perhaps better yet that it comes with some grace and practical decision making.
