Manual Photography
I'm just a 'little bit' proud of this photo I took of Eva today at the park. It's 100% manual and unedited - - pinky promise!

Easter Morning
We celebrated Easter morning at my parents house this year. When Lila woke up before even getting out of bed she told me that she didn't want to eat breakfast. After inquiring further she had decided that if she didn't eat breakfast, she wouldn't spill and she could put on her Easter dress early. Her train of thought is marvelous!
Bunny Gummies!
Eva is going to be a banker; she is obsessed with money. Here she is dumping the coins from her Easter eggs into her new little purse.
Lila and Nana making g-free cupcakes; these two love to bake together!
This is a photo of 'cat tails' that have gone to seed in my parents greenhouse. It kind of looks like an angel!
Awe - this is sweet. My dad and Lila walking down by the bay (Puget Sound) in front of my parents house.
This is "Sarah Cat" my parents sweet, sweet kitty cat. Both of the girls really like Sarah and spent a lot of time outside looking for her and petting her over the weekend.

Easter in Shelton
The girls and I celebrated Easter in Shelton this year with my family. Scott was in Tacoma helping his Aunt move and visiting Grandma Henri (she broke her leg and is in a rehabilitation facility). :( The girls had a fantastic time with their cousins and extended cousins. We have a lot of little girls in the Shrum family right now! There were 9 children at Easter (8 girls and 1 boy).
This photo below says everything about how Eva felt about the trampoline.
All of the girls getting ready for the Easter egg hunt.
Everyone drawing numbers to find their partner for the annual raw Easter egg toss. Eva participated this year for her first time; both of the girls did really well.
Nana didn't have as much luck. Her egg broke all over her - ewe! Actually, she wasn't the only one with egg on her by the end of the event...Eva had egg on her too.

Visiting Aunt Viona (San Francisco and Napa)
My mom and I went to Northern California to visit my great Aunt Viona during the first week of April. Viona is 94 and amazed me every day with her endurance both mentally and physically. We had a fantastic visit and even took a trip to San Francisco one day that included; lunch in China Town, tea tasting, the Pacific Ocean and my mom and I capped the day off with a run over the Golden Gate Bridge. The next day we went to Napa where we started our day with a picnic lunch at a winery and ended at the top of the tram at Sterling Vineyards. Both days were full and adventerous and fun, fun, fun.
We had lunch at the Great Eastern Restaurant in China Town. It was recommended to us and the food was excellent. The restaurant was really busy and full of Chinese people which we felt was a good sign!
Tea Tasting in China Town! So many choices and a really great experience trying a variety of teas.
Getting ready to run across the Golden Gate Bridge and back (1.7 miles each way).
And we're done! We ran fast because Viona was in the car relaxing and we wanted to get back to her as soon as possible.
Napa!

Masterpiece
This is Eva's masterpiece from her birthday party last week at Elida Field's studio. This photo was inspired by my friend Lara Blair over at Modern Prairie Girl.
