Swimmers!!!

Lila and Eva have both advanced significantly in swimming. Lila has advanced past traditional swim lessons to Sharks. She swims twice a week for an hour at a time. Her Swim CoAch Amy said on the first day if Sharks that Lila was going to swim more today than she had ever swim in her life. And, she did. She has become a great swimmer in all strokes. Lila likes it so much that on Tuesdays and Thursdays she chooses to swim while Eva takes lessons. That means she us swimming four days a week!

Eva has also advanced so far that she is now in Level 4 which is a class reserved for kids 6+. This is her second session at this level and she is gaining more confidence despite her age and size. On Tuesday Eva set her sights on jumping off the starting blocks which she had previously opted out of. And, she did it!!! 

Fall Soccer 2014

The Fall soccer season is complete and successful for both girls. Scott coached Eva's team again and they were so, so cute. 5/6 of the girls Eva went to school with at Goddard for 5 years and Elena was the 6th girl who Eva has known her whole life too.

Lila played on the same team as she did last year with 7 other friends.

Halloween Fun

Let me introduce to you Fancy Nancy (Eva) and Laura Ingalls (Lila). The girls choose very practical literary characters for their Halloween costumes this year, they make me proud. Lila read the entire Little House on the Prairie book series this summer and has been rereading several of the books already this fall. Eva and I went to the Fancy Nancy play and she has been reading a lot of Fancy Nancy books so this seemed like a likely choice. Fancy Nancy accessorizes a LOT which is perfect for Eva. We went to our first Halloween party last night and have another one this afternoon.

I dressed as a Bank Robber...Lila suggested I be a Candy Robber so there you have it.

We curled Eva's hair with hot rollers (a first) and it turned out really cute and poofy as she said.

Nana and Grandpa came down for a visit and we carved pumpkins.

A little fall nesting has my trying out my canning skills. I've only ever canned one time before but so far, so good. Truly, Eva helped me make the Applesauce and I canned it.

Welcome Back!

This is the greeting committee evert single time one if us comes over the fence from the Jennings house. I'm so grateful for these two dogs!

Sick - O

This is the look of a kid who has been sick all day. She seems to be doing better (fingers crossed). I'm hoping it was just a 12 or 24 hour flu.
