We recently attended the Vancouver Sausage Festival. Scott has memories of attending the festival as a child and he was pretty motivated to take us. It's hosted by the local Catholic church which is somewhat ironic since they serve sausage, beer and wine. We had a BLAST! The whole night was very UN-McGeachy-like. We got there somewhat late for us 5:30pm having not eaten dinner but instead a heavy snack. The kids rode ride after ride as you can see from the photos. Before we knew it the time had gotten away from us and it was 8pm. Like I said we had not eaten dinner so instead of eating at the festival we stopped at Burgerville on our way home. Eating out is so rare for us because of Lila's allergies and then eating out at an odd time with two hungry kiddos never happens. It ended up being so much fun we had a great experience and the kids were perfect. A rare fun and unconventional evening for us.
Eva is riding in the Katelyn fish, which is fitting because Katelyn is her middle name.
