First Day of School: Officially in Pre-K

Today was officially the first day of school for Lila and Eva. Lila started in Pre-K today and is in her last year of school at The Goddard School. Eva has three more years before she graduates and we're not in a hurry for either one of them to be done with Goddard. A couple of highlights from today;

1) Today Eva told her teacher "I'm done crying a school". The previous two weeks have been difficult for her in terms transitioning to a new class. I thought it was very mature of her to vocalize to her teacher that she's done crying. She's getting so big!

2) Tonight after bath time Lila and I were working on some math. 2+2, 3+3, 4+4, 5+5...I think she's a math genius! ;) Check out her math skills in the video below.
