Peach Cobbler

Lila helped me make peach cobbler this morning. She got on her hands and knee's on the countertop to help me roll it out.
One serious little baker!

Lila's Sunflower

Earlier this summer at Lila's school they planted sunflower seeds and sent them home with the kids. We watched as Lila's seed sprouted and then grew and grew until it out grew the dixie cup. Then we planted it in the yard and watered it regularly and you know what? It took off. The sunflower is almost as tall as me! It bloomed over night and there are the photos of Lila's sunflower.

Hum?

While on a walk recently we stopped to pick blackberries. We didn't realize this until we got home but somehow Eva ended up getting a blackberry squished on her little pants. I know that Scott and I didn't do it and there is no way that Eva could have done it so it was either Lila or we could blame one of the dogs. Hum? What do you think?

Lila and Eva in the Double Bob

Movin on Up!

Eva moves into the highchair! Uncle Tony made this highchair especially for us when Lila was little. Occasionally Lila still sits in it but now we have a new highchair sitter...Eva. She enjoys eating baby rice crackers in her highchair while I make dinner.

Our Girls Being Silly

Lila and Eva being silly, laughing and dancing. Excuse the messy house, excuse the Elmo panties and enjoy the video.

P.S. At one point Lila takes off running around the kitchen and then runs out of the video screen to the bathroom. She's potty training and running to make it to the potty.

And, while Scott and I have encouraged Lila not to scare Eva we have lost the battle. Eva laughs so hard when Lila scares her so the reward is just too good.

Boating with the Shrum's

Lila with Nana and Grandpa Shrum in Olympia, WA.

Lila and Nana (notice the two piggie tails that Lila is sporting).

Morgen, Lila and Hannah
All four granddaughters

Nana, Grandpa, Lila, Hannah and Morgen getting ready to feed the birds.

Lila eats a carrot right out of Nana's garden! She loved it. It is one of my favorite memories about growing up too...mom always had a huge garden and I would just go and graze. Yum.

Eva likes boating too!
Sitting in the Captain's chair.
