What a difference a few hours makes. The excitement turned to horror later in the day. Thankfully the girls were off to school by that time and relatively sheltered from the things that transpired at the Boston Marathon in 2013. We did tell Lila about the bombings later and her immediate reaction was, "Is Kara Goucher okay?" Sweet. Still praying for those who lost their lives and legs; its horrific.
