Eva had to be admitted to the hospital on Friday night. She was really lethargic, not eating and running a temperature. As it turns out she was fighting a virus and dehydrated. The pediatric team put her through an abundance of procedures to determine what was going on. Soon after she got an IV her temperature broke. We stayed in the hospital until Saturday night. She's still recovering and not eating a lot but MUCH better.

Eva's IV was in her foot and so the doctors built a splint for her foot so that she couldn't move it and irritate the IV. Poor baby.

Saturday afternoon Eva started feeling better. Here she was laying in her hospital crib kicking her legs with joy. Finally feeling well.

The doctor's and nursing staff at Legacy's pediatric emergency room and 5th floor were wonderful to all of us.

Amy, that had to be frightening. I am glad she is doing ok.
ReplyDeleteI agree how frightening, hope she is feeling much better. I remember those days. She is so beautiful.
