Scott's mom, Michele, AKA "Ama" drew this cute photo for the girls bathroom. Isn't it so sweet? It's hard to tell but the shower part of this photo is actual shiny crystals. It's such a sweet drawing and will be perfect in the girls bathroom. Thank you Ama!

A Family Hike

Scott had the weekend off! We were able to get in lots of great family time including a hike in the Columbia River Gorge. Below you can see that we hiked up a zig-zag trail. Whew!

Fat Lip

Lila attended another birthday party this weekend. Our neighbor Ethan turned 6. Sadly, she had a run in with a bigger boy and ended up with a foot to her face (it was an accident). Lots of blood and tears and this is what you get...a FAT lip. She's tough and has a good attitude, as you can see from her Zebra mask below.

Meet our Babysitter!

Scott and I went on another date (that's two in 2010 ~ we're off to a great start). This is our babysitter Grace who lives within walking distance of our house. The girls love her and can't wait for her to come back to play. I'm so grateful to have found a good babysitter!

Lila has been cracking me up lately. Today on our way home from school I said to Lila that we were having lasagna for dinner. She immediatly responds, "Ella's sister's name is lasagna". My response, "What?!?!". She kept repeating it until I realized what she meant. We met one of her friends older sisters this weekend whose name is "Anya".
